Common Incoterms
- EXW (Ex Works): The seller makes the goods available at its premises. After this point, all charges are responsibility of buyer.
- FOB (Free On Board): The seller delivers merchandise on board the vessel nominated by the buyer. Cargo must be customs free for exports.
- El vendedor entrega la mercancía en el puerto de embarque.
- CFR (Cost and Freight): Seller must pay the costs and freight to bring the goods to the port of destination, being responsible for transportation costs. Cargo insurance is not included.
- CIF (Cost, Insurance and Freight): Seller must pay the costs and freight to bring the goods to the port of destination, being responsible for transportation costs and cargo insurance.
- CPT (Carriage Paid To): The seller delivers the goods on the agreed location inside destination country. Therefore, seller is responsible for unloading and handling costs until agreed location. Buyer is responsible for cargo insurance and customs liberation costs on destination country.
- DDP (Delivered Duty Paid): Seller is responsible for delivering the goods to the named place in the destination country, and pays all costs in bringing the goods to the destination including import duties and taxes. The buyer do not involves in any activity.
